Homeownership Program

AAAH's Homeownership Program provides HUD certified housing counseling, resources, and support to first-time homebuyers in Oregon. A first-time homebuyer is classified by HUD as anyone who has not owned a home in the last three years. The Homeownership Program empowers future homebuyers to feel confident in their understanding of the homebuying process. Our counselors work with future homeowners to develop strategies that are specific and unique to the client - no matter where they are starting from.

AAAH's First-Time Homebuyer Class is an 8-hour course that satisfies education requirements for many Down Payment Assistance Loans. You may attend in-person, or participate in the discounted virtual class through eHome America online. AAAH clients receive a special discount code that reduces the online course fee from $99 to $30. The live course will include a $20 materials fee beginning in January 2025.

Are you ready to begin your homebuying journey?
